How to run marketing when there are three of you

Small teams do not need more channels. They need fewer, done consistently, with someone accountable.

Small teams get advice built for big ones. Full-funnel content strategies, always-on paid, a brand refresh. It is not wrong, it is just unaffordable in attention, which is the scarcer resource.

The version that works looks narrow. Pick the one channel where your buyers already are, and commit to it for a quarter. Pick one asset you can genuinely maintain, whether that is a newsletter, a LinkedIn cadence or a set of case studies. Then make sure your website and CRM can actually catch the interest you create.

Consistency beats range every time at this size. Two posts a week for six months will do more than a burst of activity across five platforms in March.

The other half is accountability. Marketing tasks lose to client work every time unless someone owns them. In a three-person business, that owner is usually part-time, external, or both. That is fine. What matters is that the plan has a name against it.

Fewer channels, longer horizons, one owner. It is not a clever answer, but it is the one that works.
